CMT's Award-Winning Radio and TV Host Cody Alan Proposes to Partner at Sandals Resorts
During a recent stay at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica, CMT’s award-winning radio and television personality Cody Alan popped the question to his partner Michael Trea Smith during a romantic dinner on the beach. Alan was hosting a Story Behind the Songs LIV+ event at Sandals, a concert series in partnership with Premiere Networks from September 4-7th, 2017 when he decided to ask his boyfriend to marry him.
Alan and Smith are no strangers to the luxury all-inclusive resort company, as they have traveled to a number of Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts properties to host various Story Behind The Songs event series including Beaches Turks and Caicos, Sandals Royal Bahamian and finally Sandal South Coast, where the proposal took place on Wednesday, September 6th.
“Popping the question at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica was truly amazing. The beach there is hands down the most gorgeous I’d ever seen,” said Cody Alan. “It was absolutely the perfect night, and most beautiful experience.”
Aside from hosting the country concert events, Alan and Smith enjoyed relaxing massages at the Red Lane® Spa, unlimited water sports including sailing and snorkeling, some well-deserved beach time, private luxury transfers, a private candlelight dinner on the beach and much more.
