SANDALS RESORTS INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATES 13 PRESTIGIOUS WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS™ CARIBBEAN & THE AMERICAS

Sandals Resorts International (SRI), the parent company of Sandals® Resorts and Beaches® Resorts, is celebrating 13 recognitions awarded to the all-inclusive resort company in the World Travel Awards™ Caribbean & The Americas. Now in its 31st year, the World Travel Awards recognizes the top hotels, resorts, and destinations in the travel and tourism industry – with Sandals Resorts International honored as the Caribbean's Leading Hotel Brand for as many years in a row, and the brand’s recently debuted Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines named the Caribbean’s Leading New Resort.

"The World Travel Awards always mark a special time of the year as the industry celebrates best-in-class Caribbean hospitality and this year it’s even more special as our new home in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines accepts its first honor,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International. "This incredible resort, the amazing team members who proudly welcome guests home, and the captivating spirit of this island, represent exactly what the Sandals brand stands for, and we share this very special recognition with the people of Saint Vincent as a symbol of where we are taking this resort and this brand together: to the moon.”

Ushering in a new destination for the Sandals brand, the ‘Vincy’ resort is tucked away within an oceanfront valley, welcoming its first guests in March 2024. The resort offers a slew of “Sandals Firsts” inclusive of entirely fresh culinary concepts and room designs that embrace the surrounding natural beauty, inviting guests to bask in the brand’s first-ever two-story over-water villas, posh suites with media and fitness rooms and Sandals’ inaugural large-format dining concept, Buccan, inspired by the local flavors and cooking styles of the island.

Marking another milestone, Sandals Dunn's River took home the Caribbean's Leading All-Inclusive Resort for the second year in a row, celebrating its mark on the Ocho Rios, Jamaica, region. The property boasts the brand’s first and only Coyaba Sky Rondoval Butler Suites, complete with a Stargazing Concierge – all moments away from Dunn’s River Falls. On Jamaica’s western coast, Beaches Negril Jamaica's Leading All-Inclusive Family Resort 2024, setting the standard for the ultimate in family vacations with its new Firesky Reserve Villas and Eventide Penthouse Suites, along with enriching programming to bolster family connection and memory making.
