Sandals® Resorts and Beaches® Resorts Dazzle in Silver and Gold in the 2025 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards

Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts proudly announce nine prestigious wins at the 2025 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards, honoring excellence across the global travel industry. The accolades highlight the brands’ continued leadership in storytelling, design, and purpose-driven hospitality, while celebrating a defining creative milestone — the “Made of Caribbean” campaign — which has become a hallmark of Sandals’ authentic island identity and its enduring connection to the region it calls home.

A Landmark Moment: Made of Caribbean

At the heart of this year’s recognition is “Made of Caribbean,” a sweeping, multi-channel campaign that reaffirms Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ island roots. The campaign’s brand film, winner of Gold in the Promotional Video category, is a cinematic love letter to the region — narrated by Executive Chairman Adam Stewart, whose voice anchors breathtaking visuals of sea, sand, and soul. Through poetic storytelling and imagery that pulses with rhythm and emotion, “Made of Caribbean” captures the essence of the people, passion, and promise that have shaped Sandals since its founding more than four decades ago.

The Caribbean Front and Center 

The brands also continue to underscore the essence of the Caribbean through stories and experiences that inspire connection and impact. The “Jamaica Love” Live Stream, Gold Winner of Virtual Experiences and Events, tapped into the rhythm, beauty, and warmth of the island to bring together travel industry leaders, government officials, the Jamaica Tourism Board, and local culture and talent. That same spirit of community is what drives the work of The Sandals Foundation, which leads the GRENROP Project and Excursion in Grenada, Gold Winner in the Giving Back Initiative category. This project empowers female farmers on the island with resources, training, and sustainable opportunities that strengthen local livelihoods and get guests involved. 

Celebrating Sandals 2.0

Beyond storytelling, Sandals continues to redefine the all-inclusive experience through spaces that embody beauty, innovation, and authenticity. The Red Lane® Spa at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, honored with Gold for Spa Design, draws inspiration from the island’s lush rainforest terrain to create a tranquil haven of wellness. The same resort, also awarded Silver for All-Inclusive Resort, showcases the brand’s signature balance of modern luxury and natural charm. Meanwhile, at Sandals Royal Curaçao, the Dos Awa Two-Level Infinity Pool earned Silver for Pool Design for its striking architectural artistry — an emblem of the brand’s ongoing revolution of relaxation.
