The Caribbean’s leading luxury all-inclusive resort brand, Sandals® Resorts, emerged as a frontrunner at the 2023 World MICE Awards Gala held on March 6th in Berlin, Germany. The highly anticipated event was attended by industry leaders and representatives from around the globe, where Sandals Resorts earned the top spot across six categories: 

• Caribbean's Best New MICE Hotel 2023: Sandals Royal Curaçao
• Caribbean's Best Incentive Hotel 2023: Sandals Montego Bay (Jamaica)
• Antigua & Barbuda's Best Incentive Hotel 2023: Sandals Grande Antigua
• Barbados' Best Incentive Hotel 2023: Sandals Barbados
• Jamaica's Best Incentive Hotel 2023: Sandals Montego Bay (Jamaica)
• Saint Lucia's Best MICE Hotel 2023: Sandals Grande St. Lucian

Among the remarkable victories, Sandals Royal Curaçao was named the "Caribbean's Best New MICE Hotel 2023," celebrating the unique ways the resort caters to MICE travelers and events. Elsewhere across the region, Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica earned two awards as both Jamaica’s and the Caribbean’s Best Incentive Hotel.

On the heels of the win, Sandals Royal Curaçao gears up to welcome one of the largest hospitality gatherings in the Caribbean as the host of the 2024 ASTA Caribbean Showcase in August. A first for the resort since its grand opening on the Dutch Caribbean island in the summer of 2022, the Showcase will welcome guests to the island’s largest conference spaces, enveloped in an exotic location and a rich cultural tapestry. 

Now in its fourth year, the World MICE Awards serve to celebrate and reward excellence in MICE tourism and is the sister event of the World Travel Awards™. These prestigious accolades represent Sandals’ unwavering commitment to quality and unparalleled hospitality with a continued focus on delivering unforgettable experiences to MICE travelers and the companies and industries that choose to gather in its spaces – including a brand new location opening soon in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on March 27th.
