Island Routes Launches First-Of-Its-Kind Double Decker Catamaran in Jamaica
Island Routes Caribbean Adventures is excited to announce the recent launch of Calipsoul, a first-of-its-kind double decker catamaran in Jamaica. The brand new custom-built luxury vessel will reside in the popular town of Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
At 65-feet long and with two levels for guests to relax from, the state-of-the-art vessel has capacity for 150 people. Calipsoul is fully equipped with an all-inclusive bar, DJ booth, snorkeling equipment, and a wet and wild water slide! An expert crew of 11, whose training exceeds beyond international regulatory standards, will man the vessel along with the Captain who holds a Coastal Master Certification.
“We’re an ever-expanding and always-evolving company that is fueled by adventure and a desire to serve customers while going beyond customer’s expectations,” commented Adam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of Island Routes, “which is why we are so pleased to announce this brand new experience to our home country of Jamaica. Island Routes is setting a new standard for catamaran cruises by going above and beyond anything tourists have seen. The newly minted catamaran cruises in Jamaica will take tourists to some of Jamaica’s most iconic sites including Dunn’s River Falls, so matter what type of experience guests are looking for, Island Routes will have a tour to suit their style. There will be three tours available on the double decker catamaran: the Dunn’s River Catamaran Cruise ($109 per adult) which is inclusive of an open bar, a short snorkeling trip, and a trip to the iconic waterfalls; the Family Reggae Cruise ($109 per adult / $85 per child) which features a more extensive snorkeling tour; and the Lover’s Rock Catamaran Cruise ($95 per adult) where guests can sip all-inclusive cocktails and watch the famous Jamaican sunset.
